LOST!: Canoe Beach, Nahant, Massachusetts, USA on 2012-09-19

On Sept 20th, we received this message from Janine L.:

“LOST!: Canoe Beach, Nahant, Massachusetts, USA on 2012-09-19

I lost my GoPro Hero3 Silver edition camera while completing a Scientific dive off of Canoe Beach near the Northeastern University Marine Science Center (Nahant, MA, USA). It was in the waterproof dive housing attached to a headmount and a neon green floaty. The location of removal was probably near the right side of the subtidal area. The current was going into the shore so it is possible that it has washed up on one of the nearby beaches or in a tide pool. There is a lot of footage on the microSD in the camera, including footage of a music festival and people riding on a bus. The most recent footage is of 20+ college age students getting ready for a dive in the MSC area. Please keep an eye out for it if you are in the area!
Thank you!

Janine L., NU Three Seas student, Marine Science Center Nahant, MA”
