On May 22nd we received this message from Ibrahim. He founds a GoPro!:
“FOUND! : on the shore of beach Thanburudhoo, Maldives, on 2014-5-3. It was a HERO 1 which has a 2 GB Sandisk card. The camera was so badly rusted, in order to reach the card I have to crack open the camera. I have some pics of the camera too.
I was able to retrieve around 1,175 photos. No video present. On those photos I can see the owner mounting the camera on the surf board. Please tell me how to send that picture.
If you think that this might be yours, please send us a message with as many details as possible (incl a picture of you): What were you wearing when the camera was lost (colours), what were you doing, accessories attached, etc…. We’ll pass it to Ibrahim!

“Hi! I Lost my GoPro Camera model HD surf hero whilst surfing the reef in front of the employees accommodation at the Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa in the Maldives. The break is named Quarters. The memory card contains some videos of myself and 4 English friends on our rented boat which was called the Finolhu and a lot of underwater footage and surfing footage sadly with a fair bit of fogging. Thanks to the finder to contact TheLostGoPro.com. Reward if found! Charlie.”
If you found it, feel free to contact us using this form. We’ll pass the message.
