LOST! : at Venice Beach, CA, USA on 2014-01-21

On Jan 21st, we received this message from Pierce T.:

“I had my GoPro knocked off my board today at the beach. I was 200 yards south of the pier. It has a 64 gb card with a time lapse from Manhattan Beach, a few time lapse videos from my office (Chiat\Day\LA) and a couple of videos on my board right before it fell off. The last video has my bearded face on it.
Thank you for any help!
Pierce T.”

LOST! : St. Johns River bank at the Alpines Groves Park, FL, USA on 2014-01-12

On Jan 13th, we received this message from Matthew M.:

“Hi! I Lost my GoPro Camera model Hero 3 “Silver Edition” in the marsh lands of the St. Johns River bank at the Alpine Groves Park on Sunday January 12th. I had it sitting next to a tree with moss covering the camera. The memory card contains only one file and that was a time-lapse of the sunset I was recording at the time. Thanks to the finder to contact theLostGoPro.com. Reward if found! Thanks.
Matthew M.”

Time-lapses examples

As you already know, the GoPro Camera is also great for creating time-lapse videos…

You will find below some examples of Time-lapse I made using:

My GoPro Camera (usually shooting once every two seconds)
Directly connected to a tripod
Or with an egg-timer in-between
Apple MacBook Pro (2011) 17′
Quicktime Pro to render the video @25 fps.

No music, just pictures concatenated…  😉

The videos are displayed in the following order: Oldest first.

Others will follow.
