LOST! : at the bottom of the Main Basin at Glencoe Mountain Resort, Argyll and Bute, UK, on 2014-01-??

On Jan 12th, we received this message from Danny B.:

“Hi! I Lost my GoPro Camera model Hero(3) at the bottom of the Main Basin at Glencoe Mountain Resort. Bad fitting on my part meant it came loose from its sticky pad on the way back to the Basin Tow. Someone must have picked it up, because I had realised within 20-30 seconds that it was missing. The memory card (32GB) contains some videos of myself boarding down the slopes. There is also one of the camera looking up at me. My board is a light green colour. I was wearing a Blue trousers and green jacket. Thanks to the finder to contact theLostGoPro.com. Reward if found! Danny B”

LOST! : less than 3km of Dinas Powys Common in Wales, UK, on 2013-08-18

On Oct 29th, we received this message from David W.:

“I lost my cousin’s wedding video on a GoPro camera mounted to a small white DJI Phantom helicopter/quadcopter.  It went down within 3 kilometers of Dinas Powys Common in Wales (near Cardiff), end of August 2013.  Reward and eternal gratitude if found!  Take a look at the DJI Phantom on Google and you’ll see what the helicopter holding the GoPro looks like. What’s ironic is, my dad lost his glider in the exact same heavy brush in Dinas Powys some 60 years before! Reward to whoever finds it! It has a U.S. Phone number on it, but I’m sure it’s stuck deep in hard to reach brush. Thank you! -David”

Sir Richard Branson is looking for a LostGoPro!

Sir Richard Branson is looking for a LostGoPro… But he didn’t contact us… He should have as we are running THE place to announce Lost or Found GoPro Cameras! 🙂

So we are repairing “his mistake”! 😉  (if you read this Sir Branson, please accept my sincere apologies)

Here’s the story: (http://www.psfk.com/2013/10/richard-branson-lost-camera.html)

Filmmaker Chis Jupe was at Richard Branson’s estate in Oxfordshire last weekend and was using a GoPro camera tied to a pair of balloons to take aerial shots during a garden party that Branson was having for Virgin Train staff.

Unfortunately, the fishing line he used to secure the balloons snapped and they, along with said camera, went flying off towards Newcastle. Well, that’s according to Branson’s post on his blog.

Branson has asked his 3.5 million plus Twitter followers to try to find the balloons. He wrote, ‘So let’s try a social media experiment – if you spot the balloons then tweet @ChrisJupeUK.’

This isn’t the first time Branson has called on folks to try to find a lost balloon and there’s no word yet on any sightings of the escaped GoPro camera, but it would be fun to see if it turns up somewhere.

So if you spot it, please tell TheLostGoPro.com first! This would give us great exposure! 😉
We will of course inform Sir Branson that YOU found it.

Wishes you all a good day, hoping to be able to continue to reunite more and more GoPro Cameras with their rightful owners!

Best,

Mr. G.
